The bees are dying in my area. I can see 2 or 3 bees in the pool every day with no explanation. This is a place with a lot of agriculture (local farmers and big extentions too) and construction (streets, buildings, etc.). There are a big concern about bees. Food contamination has been reported. The bees population depends on flowers and polinization. How we can work with this problem? I think is both, a social and a biologycal and ecologycal matter too. No answers will arrive until the problem be faced with multidiciplinary focus.What do you think?
I am looking for colaboration to work in ambient pollution problems.

Well, at my house every day I find at least 3 or 4 dead bees without explanation. I live near areas where everything is grown (vegetables, corn, soy, etc.). It has caught my attention because it is the first time I see it. It seems to be a problem that we must face in a multidisciplinary and fast way.
In June 2014, President Obama issued a memorandum establishing a Pollinator Health Task Force, co-chaired by Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States, to create a National Pollinator Health Strategy that promotes the health of honey bees and other pollinators (including birds, bats, butterflies, and insects). Details, including the National Pollinator Health Strategy and Pollinator Research Action Plan that the Task Force produced in 2015, are at https://www.epa.gov/pollinator-protection/federal-pollinator-health-task-force-epas-role. The Pollinator Research Action Plan calls for setting a baseline, assessing environmental stressors, restoring habitat, understanding and supporting stakeholders, and curating and sharing knowledge.

Death of any organism in ecosystem is not irrelevant as it would adversely affect the ecosystem. As far as bees are concerned they are very important group of insects as many plants are dependent on their reproduction on bees. The decline in bee's population will lead to substantial decline in agricultural productivity. Studies in Argentina reveals that herbicide glyphosate (= Roundup) has been the main cause of bee mortality. Please take a look at the following references.

Reducing the number of bees has disastrous effects of the pollination of plants particulary fruit trees.
It may be as a result of using high doses of different pesticides or lack of pollen , pollinaters and nectar in the area which bees found in.
