Is that possible to measure LPS from a frozen piece of liver ?

I froze (-80°C) pieces of liver in dry tubes (meaning no media) for further analysis. Now, I want to measure LPS levels, have anyone successfully done that ?

If it was from fresh liver, which protocol would you use for lysis ?

Would you express it per g of liver ?
