Dear Sara, Harmful concentration of phages, varies from one phage to another. You have to check your own concentration of chloroform for your phage. Usually range 1-1.5 % can kill ,but again its depends on phage.

thank you friends. In fact I want to solubilize a polymer in chlorofom and pour it on a surface which contains of phages.

Well then go through the papers and do make a concentration that will solve the problem of both dissolving the polymer and allow the viability of phages.
