The French philosopher Ronnie Descartes sees that the mathematical meanings of numbers and mathematical forms are innate thoughts such as the idea of God and what God gives to man in concepts that can not be wrong.
Hi, Hassan, it seems such a simple question, doesn't it. Although, anyone who works with younger children will say, it isn't simple at all. Simply helping a child understand the concept behind 2+2=4 is difficult without the experimentation using fingers, sweets, marbles, etc. However, the experimentation relies on the subject's understanding of 'numbers'. So, what if the subject has no knowledge of numbers at all? Well, then you are in the position that the MIT team found themslves in when working in Amazonian Brazil. And they may help with an answer to your question. . . or just throw up more questions. Here is a link to a piece in 'Science Daily': Massachusetts Institute Of Technology.
