I think the distance learning is suitable for adult (i.e age between 40s and 50s) because most of these people have a work of more than 7 hrs. From another hand the Understandability increases at the expense of conservation, so they need to more reviewing of old information even that studied in near previous years.

I think distance learning can be considered suitable for both groups of ages. Of course young learners (if you mean age 13-17, for instance) need to be supervised. Also tasks may vary as well, because they have different backgrounds and interests.
