the answer here depends on the definition of traditional and nontraditional methods in teaching.

SO I suggest you add more explanation about traditional methods.

In fact there is no traditional and non traditional method. Here traditional method means the conventional method which, in Iraqi classroom, represented with memorization and repetition which returns back to behaviorism. In other hand we have the new methods that derived from cognitive psychology and constructivisim strategies, such as thinking strategies ( creative, critical, reflective..etc.) , scaffolding, Ausbals' organizers, problem solving, cooperative learning and others.However, behaviorism and its objectivity is still used in specific cases and in programmed learning.
