We are an institute which is performing testing of materials according to a lot of standards. Together with the epidemic of corona virus, a lot of companies want to know whether their textiles are killing the virus ore let the virus pass.

Because in our lab it is not possible to work with human virus, I isolate bacteriophage for E. coli. And want to use them for a simulation of testing of corona virus.

I think, for tests of materials which are based on the size of virus, there might be no problem, because bacteriophages has the samen size, as huma virus.

But as a simulation of killing the virus by a chemical reagent ore surface treatment of a material, I had my doubts. Is there anybody who could help me with the question weather it is possible to simulate killing of corona virus with a bacteriophage system ?

Thank you
