Is it possible to study glucose intake and insulin sensitivity in MCF-7 cells?

I found a HDAC in mitochondria of MCF-7 and was thinking of directing my research hypothesis towards insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake.

Is it good model to study insulin sensitivity?
