Dear fellow researchers,
I have a momentum source which is dependant on a volume fraction gradient in a transient multiphase simulation. However I want it to "to add" up into regions were the gradient is not yet developed. For this I would need the momentum source values to integrate along the flow direction, starting from my inlet. One could think of it as a kind of hydrostatic pressure, when the flow is directed towards gravity. The momentum source needs to be calculated for each timestep, so a fixed expression is no sufficient solution for my problem. I can't seem to find a way using the standard expression language in ANSYS CFX. Is there some kind of way to implement this idea?

I highly recommend the ANSYS CFX tutorials (https://www.academia.edu/4352811/ANSYS_CFX_Tutorials), however, I found this file very useful to deal with ANSYS CFX simulation.

thank you for the recommendation, however I already did large parts of the CFX Tutorials where I saw relevant for my field of research. I also had a test trial for the ANSYS Learning Hub where I found a tutorial for Customization of CFX. I assume to do the operation I am aiming for I would need to implement it externally via FORTRAN. However as my experience with FORTRAN is still somewhat non-existant I was hoping for an easier solution based in CCL and CEL.
