I'm trying to screen the effect of a toxic agent. I need to see its effect on a few different cell lines with different degrees of resistance to this compound. I would like to possibly culture these cells in bulk amount and put them in roller bottles or a very high capacity cell culture system. My question is if there is a specific cell culture system that can be used to culture two or more cells in the same space with some kind of filter that prevents the cells to get mixed but the media containing the drug can be exchanged between them?
I am more interested in commercially available cell culture systems than papers on methods related to this subject.

Kenneth J O Byrne Thank you for your answer. However, I need the same media on all of the cell lines without mixing the cell lines. My current option is to move the media from the culture of one cell line to the next one but if I could culture them simultaneously with the same media, that would be great.
Use the same media in a number of tissue culture flasks. The media must be fresh and not contaminated by other cells. Then harvest the cancer cells from the different and place these into multi-well plates. The size of the wells depends on the experiment and technologies available to you. Make sure the same number of cells are placed into each well. You can look these methods up an any number of journals. If you use media from existing cultures to grow other cell lines there are many issues that may make the experiments fail - contamination with other cells, Ph, etc etc
