Is it OK to use AutoAnalyzer or BioAnalyzer for the measurement of cholesterol in bacterial culture media?

I would like to add cholesterol in bacterial growth media and determine cholesterol concentration in the presence and absence of some isolated bacteria.

Is it OK to do it by the Auto-Analyzers / Bio-analyzers available in the clinics or diagnostic labs for this purpose?

yes you can use. to avoid clogging you can filter the cells out of the media.
