Hi everyone,

I recently prepared a stock solution of SC79 from Medchemexpress (HY-18749) using DMSO as the solvent. After dissolving, I noticed that the solution developed a pink coloration instead of remaining clear.

Is this a normal characteristic of SC79, or could it indicate degradation, contamination, or a reaction with the solvent? The compound was freshly opened and handled under standard lab conditions.

Has anyone else observed this color change with SC79 solutions, and do you know if it affects the stability or activity of the compound? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
