I am working with an animal model to test the Benefit of an antibody on cognitive function in a mice model but the problem that I have several cognitive testing and I think i need to give mice a break between the tests! How long should I wait to do that? a week or several days? what do you think?

Mice remember what they have learned for a very long time so it depends on what you are doing.

Actually, if possible, we should do different behavioral test on different rats. But if not feasible, then you should give a break of at least 15 days, but keep in mind the weight of animal.

You can test Y-maze and Morris water maze in one battery without a break, especially if you are doing working memory and not reference memory in the Y maze, so you would run the Y maze first (which is the less stressful one) and then the Morris water maze. 15 days is the minimum time interval before the same set of animals can be reused for behavioural experiments. The choice of seperate animals for the different tests comes in; when individual tests are two strenous, or when there is the likelihood of one test affecting the result of the other test
