Hi, I recently started culturing hESCs (H1 cell line for neural differentiation).

During maintenance of the H1 cell line, the cells abruptly turned brownish in color and formed round EB-like structures. In addition, I observed a mesh-like structure in the plate. I suspect that the Matrigel coating may have broken down due to contamination.

For reference, I did not treat the H1 cells with any drugs or chemicals.

Could you please give me some advice? It would be really helpful for my experiments!
