Hello everyone,

I am interested in observing differences in cell cycle kinetics for a certain population of cells across different conditions. I want to use EdU/BrdU double staining to look at the percentage of cells that incorporate both dyes in a given amount of time. Browsing around the literature, I wasn't able to find any papers using this technique in combination with FACS analysis, while instead all the studies used immunofluorescence and visual microscope analysis/counts.

Has anyone tried using this staining in the context of a FACS analysis? Is it going to work, or are there specific technical difficulties that make it difficult?

Thanks in advance, this is a new field for me and any help would be appreciated!

Andrea
