I noticed that this company sells a number of chemicals at prices from 3 to 5 times lower than Sigma-Aldrich, so I would like to know if anyone ever purchased products from Apollo and if these products have good purity.
Point 1 in Andrei's answer is a nice one: I've noticed that the purity of many products is not declared in the website, anyway they ask the customers to contact them for requiring a certificate of analysis. Shouldn't the certificate be provided by default?
Sertificate of analysis is standard by Merck, Sigma-Aldrich and ACROS, but with less prominent fine chemicals sellers it is problem. Infact most of such companies are repack companies, and most of sertificates for small (low cost) quantities are replicas from original producer analysis. However, for some years of chemicals trading, only two incidents of return was connected with products quality ( LANCASTER malodinitrile, 97% instead of declared 99%, and ACROS diethylzinc with etched septa in cup).
