Hi All,

My group has been offered unlimited access to Genespring for a year for £250 instead of the usual £2000!

We currently do little microarray work (I am the only person who would benefit at the moment) but this may change in the future.

I have never really used the software but as far as I can tell it provides the same level of analysis as freely accessible software (eg. Cluster, tree view, prism, tools available from Bioconductor) albeit in an accessible platform (especially for biologists not familiar with microarray analysis).

Is Genespring worth it or is it over-rated?

Thanks for your help,

Catherine
