Which cDNA RT kit for microarray/sequencing?

I am preparing cell samples for transcriptome analysis and am wondering which kit is mot suitable for reverse transcription of isolated RNA to cDNA that is going to be used in microarray or hall genome sequencing?

I read about SuperScript™ IV CellsDirect™ cDNA Synthesis Kit. Is it compatible with microarray ot NGS for example? Or it is better to isolate RNA from lysates via centrifuge columns and than to convert it to cDNA?
