i am trying to make iron oxid nanoparticles by thrermal decomposition method. when i did it the reaction mixture was popped out of system.
maybe it was because of high pressure and high temperature.
my question is
how can i set up reflux setting of thermal decomposition experiment in detail.
i saw people using bubbler , schelenk line etc
my setting was
three neck rb attached to reflux condenser.
left was nitrogen inlet with needle
right was nitrogen outlet
top was attached balloon to make system 1atm.
temperature was controlled by inherent temperature controlling of heating mantle.
raise upto 320 celsius during 2 hours
