Does anyone have idea what is meant by interface boundary condition when we assign a boundary as interface in Ansys Fluent? How does the fluent solver calculates the temperature at this interface by default when interface has been assigned coupled boundary condition?

Mam, I think the interface boundary condition can be used when the material is made up of layers of different materials.
and In simple terms, if you have two different bodies (A&B) sharing a common boundary( Face f), you can define both Af and Bf as interface boundary condition. Then you can define based on two interface boundary conditions a interface.
Creating an interface will ensure that there is no mass transfer but there is heat transfer between the two walls.
Creating interface makes the thermal boundary conditions of the both walls as coupled. if one side is 300 degrees and another 500 degrees there will be +ve heat in one wall and equal and opposite (-ve) heat in other wall.
