Green information technologies, green IT, green computing, etc. are important components of the issue of green sustainable development. As part of this problem, I propose the following research topics: Analysis of the scale of development of ICT, Internet, IT, etc., operating on the basis of electricity generated from renewable energy sources. In addition to this, another topic of this issue may be the issue of the use of ICT information technologies, the Internet, IT, Industry 4.0 technology to create and improve system solutions generating savings in electricity consumption and in the field of improving the construction and development of green branches of the economy, pro-environmental business ventures, including incl. pro-ecological transformation of the energy sector, development of renewable energy sources and in improving the implementation of sustainable development goals (e.g. improving waste segregation systems, recycling, creating biodegradable substitutes for plastic, developing electromobility, improving environmental protection systems, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving crisis management systems, reducing overproduction, etc.).
