Umphress & Bingham (2011) have described "unethical pro-organizational behaviors" as actions for the organization's or its members' interests, despite violating social, and moral values, laws, or behavioral standards. Nowadays, unethical pro-organizational behaviors have become a normal problem in most organizations, consequently, the academic context has also been affected by these behaviors. Hence, in your opinion, in the academic context, what behaviors are called "unethical pro-organizational behaviors"?
Behaviours include work passion, employees and managers destroying documents to protect the organization, giving false information to the customer to save the organization's image, hiding the truth from stakeholders, giving good references for unskilled employees, and giving misleading information to employees are of these behaviours. Unethical behaviour, with its broader definition, is an alarming action that goes beyond organizational rules and is incompatible with social rules. However, pro-organizational unethical behaviour may not be in the organization's long-term interest.
