We are analysing data from force platform to calculate the power based on the acquired force. However, the current formula consider the distance covered by the individual as the "height" between the chair and the point where the subject is standing.

In my opinion, the actual distance is the trajectory covered by the center of mass during the task. Thus, it would be longer than the height (which would correspond approximately the femur length), while the trajectory would correspond to the hypotenuse obtained from the cathetus = femur length.
