For common source amplifier, suppose I want to know the total capacitances at drain nodes then which capacitance I must consider ? Cdd or Cddbi? And what about the miller capacitance Cgd which is between gate and drain, should I consider Cgdbi ?
These capacitors are the parasitic MOS transistor capacitor at a given operating point. They are related to specific model used to describe and define these parameters.
The transistor has four terminals and therefore it can be considered that it has three ports. The gate G, the drain D , the source S and the bulk B.
According to the network theory one can determine for it mutual capacitances such as Cgs and Cgd as well as driving point capacitances or admittances such as Cdd, Cgg, and Css.
There are two transistor boundaries, the intrinsic and the extrinsic.
So in case of intrinsic they called Cddbo
