Well cant it be included as a part of the curriculum for the pharmacy graduates as it has a vast requirement in the research and industry.

When I studied chemical engineering at least some compulsory courses in statistics and engineering touched upon topics included in QbD, like Design of Experiments, factorial design and ANOVA testing. But the QbD regulatory framework with ICH Q8 are relatively new guidelines, and I agree that it would be nice if some of the modern QbD topics could be included as part of the education.

actaully pharmaceuticals are highly depended on quality and quality control , and as quality control test of the formulation done after manufacturing sometimes there is a chance of the product failure to its desired quality , QbD aims at embedding quality along with the manufacturing of the formulation. So must and should every pharma students should be exposed to it.

Agree with Hassan. I was not exposed to QbD concepts until I took a masters level certificate course. Nothing in the basic pharmacy curriculum covered any GXP or related principles.

I would also welcome a deeper understanding of statistical process control during manufacturing rather than quality control of end product. I have been fighting for years in the industry concerning these topics.

actually the concept of the study should be bit more practical and not just solving problems rather than sitting and solving complicated numerical .... lot of software are available now a days .... only thing required is the proper interface of the students with the concept of the topic of designs and QbD.
