Immunoprecipitation and mass spec in Knockdown cells?

I have generated stable knockdown MCF7 cells of a protein using lentivirus and observed slower growth and inhibition of Raf-MAPK pathway. I want to understand if I can do IP from WT MCF7 and KD MCF7 and do mass spec to find interactome of protein. Please suggest me if this preliminary observation can be a foundation to do IP-mass spec. Thank You in advance.
