When we ask this question from relatives, friends, colleagues, ... they would probably give different answers such as 'Happiness for everyone", “No more killing of innocent people and world peace", "A billion dollars”, "Be a celebrity", and the list goes ….
My quick answer is:"I wish I had spent more time with the people I love (as having money, being celebrity, etc. can't buy me happiness.)" If you had just one wish left, what would it be?

By "wish" I mean things that you potentially desire or want without having to commit to actually doing them. This lets you to brainstorm freely about the things you want without your judgments regarding how/when to accomplish them getting in the way. But the "dream" is when you find a wish that you really want to accomplish. You simply convert your wish into a dream.

Mahmoud mentioned Mahatma Gandhi - and I agree with what Mahmoud said. If there is one wish that I could add it would be that we all speak up, and act if necessary, wherever and whenever we come across injustice in the world. And in acting we have choices - we can choose to do it the way Ernesto Che Guevara did it (active resistance) or the way Mahatma Gandhi did it (Satyagraha). Many refer to Gandhi's way as passive resistance - and this is not correct. If you can find it read Gandhi's book "Satyagraha in South Africa" which he wrote in 1924. On page 106 he explains the difference between passive resistance and Satyagraha. This is some of what he wrote: "In passive resistance there is always present an idea of harassing the other party and there is a simultaneous readiness to undergo any hardships entailed upon us by such activity; while in Satyagraha there is not the remotest idea of injuring the opponent. Satyagraha postulates the conquest of the adversary by suffering in one's own person". Guevara's way worked in South America - but Gandhi's way is in my opinion the better way to challenge injustice. Any thoughts on this?
