Is the downstream analysis qPCR?

You could use any small RNA library preparation kit (for Illumina sequencing), and instead of having a sequencing readout just use qPCR. The only difference is that the miScript kit that you were using adds a polyA tail, while the library preparation kits will ligate an adapter.

You would have to use different PCR primers.

For the miRNAs you can use TaqMan™ MicroRNA Reverse Transcription Kit (OR) TaqMan™ Advanced miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit from Applied Biosystems™. After cDNA synthesis, you will need to order select miRNA assays to perform qPCR.

For piRNA, you can use custom design tool for primer design for qPCR,
