I want to explain a phenomenon in a cell culture?

I cultured fibroblast cells from a species of reptile, and after a month of culture I noticed this phenomenon in one of the subculture, where the cells made a line around the periphery of the flask, and their shape was round and different from the shape of the fibroblast cells. What is your explanation for this phenomenon?
