Tabinda Saqlian In the UV-Visible absorption spectra, the peak of silver nanoparticles appears between 380 nm to 500 nm, depending on their size in the range of 5–100 nm. But if a peak occurs between 200 to 250 nm, it means that the nanoparticles have not been formed, and this peak has appeared due to silver nitrate.

I tried these Ag nanoparticles by different method but still there peak occur in the same reagion

Please check the purity of your silver salt?

silver nitrate are 99.8% pure and its SPR spectra appear at 300nm and teir nps appear at 210nm.
