I have images to compare in geoPIV_RG with different size of pixels, can I do this analysis ?

I have images to compare in geoPIV_RG with different size of pixels, the program run and the output is the displacement field in pixels, do you know if this analysis is right, or I have to run the program with same size of images. I appreciate if someone can help me.
