I have created the geometry in ANSYS and I am using simple meshing in the first place so that I could run my simulation but it is showing error "the solver engine was unable to converge on a solution for the nonlinear problem as constrained"and there also may other warnings could you please help as I am new to ANSYS and I am trying to make my way.I am also attaching ANSYS file if you would like to check.I am using student version of ANSYS.
Have you checked whether your constraints are set properly?
Now to your error: The solution process probably did not converge. This means for example that your mesh was too Rough. You can try other meshings as the simple meshing. Also, if you make the size of the finite Elements smaller, you have better chanche for a convergence of the solution.
If you use the nonlinear models, you can try the program with a linear model at first. Vary the constraints, force Parameters or similar (that means add some, while deliting some other, save that in different versions) to see why the program gives that error; you can exclude some reasons why the error is there by using this method of successive adding and removing some constraints or other things.
In addition to what's said above,
If you are using static structural then 1st you have to check your boundary conditions (Fixed supports, applied forces/displacements....etc). after checking those, 2nd you have to go to your analysis settings and set auto time stepping to "on" large deflection to "on" and also choose sub-steps instead of time steps. also, you need to apply your loads as displacement instead of force as displacement controlled loading gives better convergence than force controlled loading.
Ahmed Mirghani I tried the above things but it is still giving the same errorr.
Did the solution start?? or it stopped without even starting to solve. if possible add attachment of your model with the error message.
Which material models and properties are you using??
You can follow the below steps to help with convergence: 1. Start with simple static model "Linear Material only"easy convergence
2. Applying non linearity (here the solution should start but will have difficulties to converge due to material non linearity.
3. Set large deflections to "on" 4. Play with steps and sub-steps (applying displacement in small intervals).
" Solution could take several hours depending on your model size and mesh
you can also use stabilization & weak springs set them to "on" in analysis settings"need to examine your solution carefully".
* Set line search to "on".

Prateek Srivastava , I opened your file. 1st all solids are assigned with "structural steel" material. you have to define the rolling parts as structural steel and the piece as "Aluminum alloy" or whatever material you are modelling. you can follow these videos from youtube "exactly the same as your model"

Ahmed Mirghani I have already kept the above tutorial in consideration while modelling my rolling operation but it didn't workout.Regarding assigning material may be I forgot to change the material for billet but I have changed it now but it is still showing the same error.
I also observed that you assign a symmetry in your model. do you have any kind of symmetry??? if not you can delete it.
Please follow the videos provided in the above link step by step. when you follow step by step then you will not have any errors when it comes to material definition, analysis sitting, mesh.......etc.
Ahmed Mirghani I tried using the steps which is shown in the video but still the problem remains unsolved as he mesh face mapping which I don't have in the student version and I am not quite sure whether only meshing is making all the difference or else there is some problem with the geometry which I tried to change it little bit.I am also attaching the new geometry.Please have a look.
