Dear Vardhman,

As per my understanding, CONWEP is used to apply pressure on surface by defining location and amount of explosive (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpc_Zc68Hn8). It does not support wave propagation. If you are interested in wave propagation, you actually need to model explosive, surrounding media, structure and soil.

I simulated explosion in ANSYS Autodyn. There is three kinds of modeling.

A. apply the pressure as time variable user defined.

B. simulate the explosive material and define a detonation point.

C. apply a blast load as boundary condition. In this case user define weight of explosive.

the waves from TNT will hit the internal surface of liner and generate pressure. This pressure is getting transferred to soil when i am using TIE constraint.

so, does it makes sense to use CONWEP now ?
