This caterpillar likes to live in the seed of Shea fruits and feeds from them. This one is from Benin. The picture was taken under magnification. In reality the length of this caterpilar is about 7mm, but it could still be young. I'm now keeping it in a petri dish, together with a Shea nut and giving it a droplet of water once a week, so I hope I can see the butterfly once as well. But some help about how to keep it alive is also welcome.
