I'm trying to do some simple size characterization using TEM for my uncoated, anatase TiO2 NP suspensions, but I cant seem to keep them from aggregating on the film, which of course, does not bode well for size analysis. I've done simply TiO2 in water, and also tried some SDS surfactant, but neither has done the job. I'm about to try using ethanol, acetone, and methanol, but figured I'd ask the community first. This seems like it'd be really simple, but it's thrown me for a bit of a loop.
