Please let me ask a question. I am drawing charts for adsorption isotherms and we normally use linear . And all R square values are around 1 but there are negative signs in y=c+mx equations for both of Langmuir and Freundlich.So I want to know there is something wrong in my batch adsorption process. All signs must be in positive?
I am calculating on different times intervals (20, 60,90,180,240,300 minutes) and different pH (3, 5, 7, 9).
I think the experiment is not being conducted properly. I mean are you sure you are taking same amount of biosorbent and different initial metal concentrations. First of all you have to find the time duration at which equilibrium is reached. After finding this you have to use this time period for doing experiments. One more thing while doing experiments for isotherms, there is no role of different pHs and different time intervals. Keep the time interval and pH as constant as suggested earlier.
