I want to grow ZnO Nanowires on glass substrate by hydrothermal growth.
I found various methods. I have following doubts...
Seed layer importance and effect on NWs growth, size of Nanoparticles, Seed layer thickness, effect of annealing (crystallinity of seed layer ZnO NPs) etc.
Second How temperature and time of hydro thermal growth process on ZnO NWs Diameter, Length, density, uniformity, crystalliniy etc.
Please suggest
Dear Chandra, I will look at the substrate material and see if it can withstand the intended annealing temperature and applied pressure or it will melt and/or interct chemically with the starting material or the final product. In that case, you may want to consider quartz substrate or even Si wafer. Also, usually when you increase the annealing time the crystaltites' sizes tend to increase at the expense of the smaller ones and this might affect the uniformity of the covergae area ..
