I have submitted an article for publication, then I received a very short comment saying "Still more comprehensive evaluations are needed for journal publication. "
There are two statistical evaluations had been used to test the hypothesis presented in the article, and the results had been reported, presented, and discussed.
any suggestions on what that comment would mean? or what kind of work still need to be done?
Dear Marwan: the statement of that journal tells you that there are many important things to be tested and evaluated to have that article published. So, it is a term to reject acceptance!! Try another journal, and try at the same time to find out some other details to add , if possible. Wish you luck.
Medhat Elsahookie Thank you for your response, i would think the same as well, but in terms of acceptance, it was reported as Accepted with major correction by that reviewer, but in the comments field, he/she gave the mentioned statement, plus English proofreading required before final submission.
This is exactly what I understood from that statement, accepted after comprehensive addition or evaluation!!
