RG is different that other scientific evaluation of scholar. I found, it is working hard to make it effective, how both scholar as well as other professor can be connected to make the platform useful to all. You can also check how many people read your scientific article through research gate easily through new modification.
I saw new way of status from today: I am sharing my status of 26th August, 2018.
Publication reads = =188, Citation = 2, Publication Recommendation = 0.
I think this is totally related with academic activities.
Based on number publications and citations relative to the different fields.
Dear Prof Dr Amir W. Al-Khafaji, as RG seems to be developed for the interaction purpose. It may give more weight-age to interactions and rest other academic effects also..or some other things like that..

I think RG score should be based on:
Total number of scientific publications, citations in Journal and total number of reads.
I myself is quite surprised with how score is calculated in Research gate as, I have seen scholars with high RG score (eg.7) even though they have only one publications and one citation. While, there are other scholars, who have more than five publications and 6 citations, but their RG score is merely 2 or 3.
Could somebody clarify me, why such difference may occur?
I think depend on number citation and research in journel with scientific name.

Dear Dr Hom Nath Chalise, though we are stakeholders but we are not members of the management team, we have little to say to that. However the most important thing is which ever method is in use must be transparent and if possible breakdown of how the point for the week is distributed should be sent to individual.

I agree with Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad. I think the current system of RG calculation is alright as it is calculated based on the number of published articles, unpublished research, projects, questions, and answers on ResearchGate. However, I would like the RG team to disclose the formula based on which they calculate the RG score.
A new Way is necessary to research score. It is very necessary. How this score is do ? I dont know ? Somebody explain this ? Thanks .

RG score calculation is unclear. The answer by Karthik seemed right, but the link did not go to a web site that corroborated the answer. Search on google did not return an answer easily. So I'll provide a few thoughts.
RG score measures scientific reputation combined with activity on Research Gate (RG). Activity can be answering questions, asking questions, or other people reading your published documents. It is a measure of how active you are on RG. A person with one published article can (in theory) have a RG score in the hundreds, and a person with 100 published articles may have a low RG score because they just post content and do nothing else.
If you want a score that is more purely academic then maybe an H-score is a better choice. As with journal impact factors, there is no perfect approach to the problem. I simply do not see how you can condense the worth of someone's life into a single number. That said, I think these scores can offer some insight into the value of an individual when combined with other factors. As with all such metrics, clever people can manipulate the system. If a high RG score is what you value and it keeps me employed then I will redirect effort to making this happen as efficiently as possible.
I found a paper criticizing RG score based on the RG score of Nobel Prize winners in economics. It pointed out that these people had no score and were not ranked. This says more about the authors of the paper than it does about Research Gate. It is not the job of this website to enter your papers for you or interact with others in your name. Only after you create your account will RG try to find papers by you. However, the search is broad so you need to sift through all the papers and select the ones that are yours. This is easier if you have a unique name, harder if your name is very common. The initial list will include every paper in any discipline ever written by someone with the last name of Smith (assuming your last name is Smith). This will be a very long list of papers that might have been authored by you.
In scientific papers archived by Web of Science, the name Chalise appears in 151 papers. RG will scrape the web for conference proceedings and abstracts with this author name. It can become a bit of work if a parent, brother, or sister is also an academic and keeps publishing articles. I think RG tries to learn who you are to eliminate many of these.
RG has started to show new weekly status in terms of Publications Reads, Citations and Publications Recommendations. No idea whether it will be used to calculate RG score new way from now on wards. Traditional way of RG calculation is highly criticized by scholar.

RG score increased from 26.16 to 26.34 (+0.18).
RG team is working day and night to develop such a tool which will help to increase the RG reads and to provide many notifications in RG.
The mysterious formula is an open secret. Hundreds of researchers and their peers wonder every week (Monday) to see unexpected deacceleration, nevertheless dozens of increment in reads, follow and recommendations.

Prof Dr Len Leonid Mizrah has highest number of answer in RG according to my own study.
The ratio of RI/RG is not constant. I just checked one RG score is 119.62 and TRI is 4803. In my case RG score is 28.46 but TRI is 347.6. In the case of Manuel S Morales RG score is 8.71 and TRI is 455.9. There are other people whose RG score is quite high and also contribution is also high but their TRI is nearly double. Mr Rick Manner has RG Score 67.02 but TRI is 27.5. I think there is some problem.
I think TRI has not taken more considerations on answers and recommendations, if so I found some very active people low in TRI. It is focusing on publications and citations.
I reviewed the Publications, citations, recommendations, answers given, total reads of few RG members and also their TRI, but I could not find the consistency on the score. Some people with low inputs are getting high TRI on the otherhand, some people with high inputs are getting low TRI.

I agree with Dr. Hom Nath Chalise that we did not have any idea about how to calculate RG score, it may go up today and tomorrow down.
Reads, Recommendations and Citations enter TRI, whereas Q&A does not.
The RG score is affected by Q&A.
The h-index, which is one of the most important measures of publications and citations, does not enter into either the RG score or TRI.
There should also be some correction factor for sexy. The larger and more popular fields have more people to read an article and more people writing more articles that have more citations.

Many academics in medical-related research, where team research is standard, have TRI >> 50,000, with the highest I have seen being 122,521, with Citations = 243,462 and RG score = 56.37.
As academic researchers in medical-related disciplines tend not to engage in Q&A, their RG scores seldom exceed 60.
It is worth reflecting on why so many academics seem to emphasize the RG score when the most prolific researchers have relatively low RG scores.
I enjoy the endless discussions in Q&A, where everyone seems to have an opinion.
This should be encouraged as most Questions are open ended and do not have uniquely correct Answers.
In connection with the RG score, as of 26 May 2019 I have compiled a list of 126 academics with RG score > 100.
I do not pretend to have a comprehensive list, but I am able to provide some data to support sensible empirical discussion about the RG score, whether you care about the RG score or not.
In my list, the highest RG score = 965.45, with h-index = 27.
Of the 126 academics, 32 have h-indexes in the range [0, 10).
Two academics have h-index = 0, and four have h-index = 1.
The remaining 94 academics have an h-index in the range [10, 91], with more than one-half of 94 having h-index > 25.
This is not achieved through endless Q&A, contrary to what has been repeated in various threads relating to the RG score, but through serious academic research over an extended period.
