I understand that a method of inoculating legume seedlings (e.g. Aisyah et al, 2013: Variation in accumulation of isoflavonoids in Phaseoleae seedlings elicited by Rhizopus) is to prepare a 0.2mL/g spore suspension containing aqueous NaCl and R. microsporus grown to 10^7 cfu/mL, which is to be added to the seeds. Should the seeds in the incubator be left with the mixture until the end of the incubation period? Or should the spore suspension be drained out after a set period of time?
