I wish to analyze a concrete beam with a notch in the center using three point loading test. I wish to obtain the failure curve and failure point during the analysis. Please help me to understand as to where and how to upload a deflection curve so as to obtain accurate results.
It is unclear from where you obtained your "defelction curve" that you want to upload to ABAQUS.
Fracture analysis of a single notched concrete beam is widely available. Due to symmetry, you model half of the RC beam, apply symmetry boundary condition to the vertical face and apply a prescrived displacement - this can be as simple as this!
