A software which can help to design the experiment, store data, update new data, set subculture reminders, barcoding etc. Like Invitrosoft.
haven't heard of any software to perform any tissue culture lab. In the first place I dnt know why u need this. The experiment for PTC should be designed by urself based on the requirements.
Invitrosoft is nice & suitable for your purpose. Why haven’t you opted to it?
Potshangbam Nongdam . thank you for responding. Yes, you are absolutely correct that the experiments have to be designed by humans and this is not what i meant here.
I am interested in a software primarily meant for digital record keeping, where one can upload his/her experiment designs (software may help in statistical analysis like, for example, the OP STAT), upload pictures of different stages of seedling development (so that all pictures get automatically stored in a single folder), where one can set subculture reminders. This obviously caters to a commercial labs and there are some software which address this issue, for example Invitrosoft. However, this software is not yet available in India.
Further, there are many ELNs (Electronic Laboratory Notebook) available with obvious benefits over the traditional notebooks, however, these are not designed specifically for a PTC Lab.
In experimental labs of research institutes and universities, i reckon such a software may not be essential for some years to come.
