Hi,

I have a big problem with transferring the inter-occlusal space from the patients' mouth to the laboratory! Every time I receive a fabricated prosthetic dental crown or bridge from the laboratory, I must spend a long time to cut the additional porcelain from the occlusal surface of the dental prosthesis to reach a reasonable occlusion! It mostly result in exposing the metal frame in some points. The dental technologist usually complains that I do not provide enough inter-occlusal space. I usually check the inter-occlusal space both with eye control and with metal probe and even prepare a registration bite with a piece of wax.

Would you please, let me know about any practical way for sending the true inter-occlusal space from mouth to the laboratory?
