Hey all

I had dissolved a hydrophobic drug in DMSO and kept it in 4 degrees. The storage condition mentioned was 2-8 degrees. It had become ice in that temperature.

What is most appropriate method for thawing this solution? I have to make dilutions of this drug for use in cell culture. I had kept it in ice for 2-3 hours and yet it hasn't become liquid.

Is it ok to thaw the drug in room temperature while preserving its potency? Or is there any other method for thawing this drug.
