Actinobacteria are quite difficult to handle if the form big clumps. so need to grow them at quite high rpm in broth. broth may be selected as per growth pattern
I used to store them in final glycerol concentration of min 15%

As I am going to work on fish microbiota I really do not know which genus of Actinobateria I will get on my plates. after isolation I am going to store them for molecular examination. My question is which broth could be a suitable and broth for my isolates. I am going to use Starch Casein broth and BHI. I really be grateful to give your opinion about that in more detail.
