How to split SPSS data file into different parts with equal size?
split file option in SPSS requires split variable.
I do not have any split variable. But i want to divide my data into 10 equal parts. how to do it.
thanks in advance
You can simply create additional variable to serve as your split variable. SPSS requires such variable for a consistent result output.
Good luck!
In SPSS, go to Transform - choose re-code into different variable or go to Data - choose split file.
Data - choose split file.
In SPSS, select Data- then go to Split File- then click on the box Organize output by groups!
