I realized that too many people are asking question regarding the boundary conditions required for setting up a simulation for a spur gear system here in RG. Therefore, I prepared this and attached here to show how boundary conditions and contact should be setup in this simulation.
I suggest to link the gears with two reference points located on the gear axes. On one gear you apply a rotation, on the second one the torque.
