Hi everyone,

I am a student conducting a research experiment about ccfDNA from plasma, so I want to separate plasma from whole blood without breaking down leucocytes. I've read that to separate plasma, people often centrifuge 2 times at 2 different speeds: 1000- 2000 rpm and highest speed (~ 13000 rpm) which eliminates completely cell residues. But I wonder that if leucocyte residues will be broken down at the second centrifuge. So is there better way to separate plasma from whole blood?

Thank you in advance for the help!
