How to select dark adaptation period and NPQ and OJIP parameter available in PAM fluorometer to study photosynthesis in microalgal culture?

I am using AquaPen-C AP 110-C to study photosynthetic activity of microalgae (Chlorella sp.). Please help me to understand how to select dark adaptation period, actinic and super pulse, and also how to decide which OJIP and NPQ parameter is suitable for which type of cells (OJIP1 or 2, NPQ 1,2, or 3).
