How to remove 230nm contamination in DNA extracted from larval tissue?

I have an remaining issue of 230nm contamination in my DNA samples that were extracted from larval tissue (A260/A230 0.5-1.2). I tried additional clean ups with Phenol:Chloroform:isoamyl alcohol, but this did not solve it. I found this is common for larval samples and can be reduced by using the head for extraction. But I will need more DNA amounts than I could extract from the head. Does anyone know a solution/clean up protocol for larval tissue?
